'Fight for Virtue'
A series of 12 traditional ink illustrations on the topic of Spiritual Battle
What does it look like within the spiritual battle that each of us must undergo in life? What is the appearance of an ordinary person in such a difficult struggle for purity? How do we fight against vice and break free from the endless cycle of sin?
This series tells a visual story of a person’s journey through sin, revealing both of their natures. It explains why bringing about good and living virtuously is much more challenging than living in vice. Like a mirror, it offers us a glimpse of what is difficult for us to see. It uncovers our weakness and inability to stand firm in temptations, points out our poverty in falls into darkness, and attempts to teach us about the necessary further steps we must take.
Whether we call vice ‘a sin’ and goodness ‘a God’ or not, this series is for those of us who want to see the path they are walking on and know those who walk with them.
This series is still being exhibited in Rome (the Vatican) and is soon to be exhibited in Košice, Slovakia.
